Built in two phases, the 320,000 SF, $32 million project includes a new 10-story, 150 room hotel with function rooms, lobby and lounges, and a full renovation of the adjoining School of Hotel Management and Administration. Renovations to the existing school included classrooms, library, wine storage and tasting rooms, and computer rooms. The project also included 17,000 SF of kitchen and dining facilities including high density exhaust hoods for teaching facilities.

The 65,000 SF facility houses computer science classrooms, a teaching auditorium, laboratories, and the main frame computer system which serves the campus-wide data and administrative information systems. The project included rotary power conditioners for the computer room HVAC units, and chilled water-free cooling.

The $4.5 million chemistry laboratory connects the Mallinckrodt and Hoffmann Laboratories on the campus. The 25,000 SF facility provides laboratory space for electronics, atmospheric research, microbiology and other disciplines. The second and third floors connect the two adjacent buildings.

This facility included a recreation building, field house and pool facility, which included lockers, showers, court areas, gymnasium, weight rooms, dance studios, therapy rooms, offices and classrooms.
