Research & Development

Amgen Center

This 370,000 GSF multi-tenant high-rise research facility was developed to meet a stringent Return on Investment  (ROI) requirement.  AMGEN occupies two out of the eight floors, while the remaining floors were designed to accommodate multi‑tenant biomedical laboratory occupancy.  The building was also designed to accommodate a 30,000 GSF animal facility.

American Cyanamid Molecular Biology Infectious Disease Facility

A four-story, 126,000 SF research facility, the building includes molecular and chemistry research labs as well as petri labs for bacteriology research.  Mechanical design includes a BL-3 containment suite, isotope hoods and hydrofluoric hoods with PVC coated ductwork, lab waste system, hazardous and flammable waste storage.

Pfizer Cambridge Technology Center

This 100,000 SF, 5-story was planned to be occupied in three phases.  The first phase consists of minimal modification for use as laboratory swing  space, including a glass wash and autoclave room.  The second phase consisted of fitting-out the fourth and fifth and completing all the utility infrastructure support.  The last phase includes fitting out the balance of the building.  The building occupants include the molecular biology group, fermentation suites, robotics and high throughput screening, cell biology. ionization, flow cytometry, protein chemistry, drug finder labs and shared laboratory support.

Hoffmann-La Roche Multidisciplinary Science Building

The 440,000 SF R&D facility contains 80,000 SF of process and clinical process suites with approximately 50% of that area requiring FDA validation.  It includes cleanrooms from Class 100,000 to Class 100, WFI and USP pure water systems, and dust collection.
